While Richmond Birth and Baby officially turns 8 years old, the heart behind our work started long before that.

Kristi Ramey—our Owner, Founder, and fearless Boss Woman—has been supporting women and babies for over 25 years, working with more than 2,000 families. What began as a passion for helping friends during the postpartum transition grew into something much bigger: a full-service agency of 25 dedicated professionals, including Kristi’s own daughters. (Yes, it truly runs in the family!)

Kristi’s mission has always been to educate, encourage, and empower new parents during one of life’s biggest transitions.

“It’s a challenging time with lots of changes,” Kristi says. “We want to be there with your family every step of the way.”
