It's frustrating that one of the most BASIC roles we can perform as a mother-breastfeeding-is so often overlooked and undervalued in the world. Cost and access to resources, education, and encouragement are a massive hurdle, which can be felt all the more in minority groups.

While we have a loooooooooong way to go in America before this is solved, we are choosing to be thankful TODAY for our ability to take insurance-and several types-to make it easier for our clients to get the help they need!

As partners with The Lactation Network, the following plans cover 6 visits (including a prenatal visit to prepare):

BlueCross BlueShield (PPO)

Anthem (PPO)

United Healthcare

In addition to those, we are also now proudly accepting many Aetna plans!

If you don't see your plan in the options above, don't worry. We are happy to write out a Superbill so you can still submit a claim to your insurance provider or any medical sharing programs!

To save time during the visit, let us know you will be needing one in your intake form OR mention it at the start of your appointment so we can give it to you in a timely manner.

Our hope is that eventually, we will have the ability to accept ALL forms of insurance, and we are working towards that goal. No mother should need to go without the support and breastfeeding education she needs to care for her infant. After all, you were never supposed to this alone!
