Meet Katy

- Birth Doula -

 Katy has her Master's of Social Work, from VCU (GO RAMS!), and is a certified Birth, Bereavement and Adoption Doula. Her hope is to bring awareness to this field and give loving, nurturing support to anyone who wants or needs it.

 Kathleen is her name, but everyone calls me Katy.

Katy is a mom of three amazing kids, twice through adoption and a wife to a loving husband. She is a nurturer by nature, and finds power in empathy. This led her to pursue this work.

As a birth doula, Katy will provide support, love, encouragement and commitment to you and your partner. She will empower you so that you can have the birth experience you desire.

Katy will be with you, hold your hand, emotionally support you and help you labor and deliver your child, to bring them Earth side. She will be there so that you can celebrate your child, your family, the joy, the sadness, and everything in between without having to spend moments on the details.  Every human deserves a person. 

It is Katy's hope to empower you through your journey, and support you to the best of her abilities.
