Meet Latisha
- Postpartum Doula, BS in Psychology, Minor in Biology and Childhood Studies -

After having her own son, she developed a passion for breastfeeding. Through self-study and continued education through Birth Arts International, she was able to reach her goal of healthy and sustainable breastfeeding. Latisha wanted to be the support that so many parents lack in breastfeeding; therefore, she decided to pursue certification as a breastfeeding educator.
During her journey of becoming a breastfeeding educator, she found another passion through the work of being a doula. She wants to be a visible force for families and create inspiration and confidence in every family. Latisha is an certified CPR/FIRST Aid/ AED instructor. She would love to teach infant safety during breastfeeding classes for families to have these lifesaving skills.
Graduating from Christopher Newport University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with minors in Biology and Childhood Studies. She is currently the lead teacher of a pre-kindergarten class at Westminster Canterbury of Richmond Child Development Center and has been working in childcare since 2016.
Latisha is a member of a historically black community based, action-oriented organization called Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. In her free time, she is often volunteering with her sorority sisters with events such as the March of Dimes fundraiser and walk, #Lunchbag, Street- clean ups, voter registration and so much more..
